Here we answer the questions we are asked most often. If yours is not among them, just write to us.
- Are you open all year round?
- Yes! Thanks to the heating we are open for you all year round. You can only swim in the pool from April to October, but everything else is here for you at any time. In winter we offer especially good weekly and even monthly rates. If you have any questions, just get in touch.
- Is there any other way we can support you?
- Of course! We are always glad of a good review on Google, but just as glad of a helping hand. If you are handy or simply good at getting stuck in, come and stay on our farm for free board and lodging and help out! Just get in touch with us.
- Can we do a work placement with you?
- Not yet — but soon. Pia is a psychologist and a special educational needs (SEN) teacher and can supervise placements in these fields by arrangement. That will only be possible once the first animal-assisted education activities start on the farm.
- Can I apply for a job with you?
- Not yet! Sadly we do not have enough funds yet to employ permanent staff.
- Do you serve meals on the farm?
- We do not offer meals at the moment. Every apartment has a superbly equipped kitchen where you can cook for yourselves. By special arrangement anything is possible, though — just ask us!
- I would like to come with my work team, is that possible?
- Of course. Outside the peak travel months of July and August we also offer team retreats arranged around your wishes. Just get in touch with us to plan your team retreat.
- I would love to try a workation, is this the right place for me?
- Absolutely! Outside the school holidays you can stay with us very cheaply and bring your friends along. There is good Wi-Fi and, of course, our company. That way you are not so alone with work from home — or work from farm!
- Are you wheelchair accessible?
- If you are travelling with a wheelchair, walking frame or other mobility aids, it is best to contact us personally. Our apartments are not wheelchair accessible at the moment; Casa Amor Perfeito is at least completely on one level. Our farm also lies in hilly countryside. Over the next two years we will convert one of our apartments to be wheelchair accessible. Until then we are happy to send you a detailed video, so that you can decide for yourselves whether the apartment and the conditions here are right for you.
- How accessible is the farm?
- So far our farm has no special adaptations. If you need particular things, it is best to contact us personally. We can describe the conditions here to you in detail and send you photos or videos. Then you can decide for yourselves whether it works for you or not.
- Can I holiday with you without children, or without disabled children?
- Yes, of course! We are a holiday farm in the middle of the most beautiful countryside, with two pools. You can feel at home here with children and without.
- Why can I not bring my pets?
- Various animals live on our farm and this is their home. Most of them are rescue animals with special needs. For that reason we sadly cannot allow animals from home – apart from individual cases agreed personally with us, and only in Casa Terra.
