We are Pia and Max. We are turning our farm “Quinta Serra de São Mamede” into a holiday farm where families can have a restful holiday and animals find a good home. A holiday in the sun, by the pool, with animals to cuddle and plenty of room to play — that is our goal!
In future we want above all to be a place where families with disabled children can have a really lovely holiday too.

Animals up close
So far our farm dog Abelinha lives with us. Sheep graze in the pasture. Little by little, goats, chickens, donkeys and pigs will move in with us.
Peace and open space
Mountains on the horizon, views of Castelo de Vide and Marvão, a golden sunset every evening and the loveliest starry sky.

Splashing about in two pools
We do not have just one swimming pool, we have two! The Gecko pool is horseshoe-shaped — it is named after the geckos that live there. In the Olympia pool you can swim proper lengths. Both pools have a gentle, sloping entry.
